Chandler Macleod health is proud to be a Prime Provider of contracted Civilian Health Practitioner services to the Department of Defence across South East Queensland.

Working as an independently contracted civilian with the Department of Defence is a dynamic and unique experience.

Currently, we have a vacant role for a GP Medical Officer at the Oakey Air Base, located 20 minutes west of Toowoomba. The role is for 1 day per week with working hours of 0730-1600 and holiday or sick leave.

Mandatory Criteria

 Australian Citizenship
 Unrestricted registration by the Queensland Medical Registration Board.
 A Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Fellow of the College of Rural and Remote Medicine or Vocationally Registered
 Evidence of involvement in an appropriate Quality Assurance and Continuous Professional Development / Continuous Medical Education program provided by a recognised training provider.
 Minimum of 5 years post graduate general practitioner experience.
